"Fresh Face, your refacing place"
Your cabinets are probably structurally sound. We use this to your advantage and the environment. In fact, your cabinets may be built from better materials (plywood) then today's particle board cabinets.Your cabinets probaby fit your kitchen, which is also an advantage. You will not have to change your countertops, floors or walls until necessary. |
The first step in the refacing process is to sand the cabinets for better adhesion. The 1/4" thick facing material is precisely cut then glued and pinned with 5/8" pins. Our method is superior to stick-on thin veneer types that only rely on contact cement, which often peels and can chip. |

Two coats of sanding sealer are applied to doors and cabinets. In between coats of sanding sealer, the surfaces are sanded smooth with 320 sandpaper. The surfaces are then checked to insure smoothness and to make sure there are no irregularities. The final step is to apply three coats of semi-gloss lacquer. |
